The Exodus Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16 bed locked LPS designated PHF in Fresno county providing services to acutely mentally ill, ambulatory, voluntary and involuntary patients requiring inpatient hospitalization for treatment of their mental illness. In a safe and therapeutic recovery based milieu the following services will be provided to adults ages 18 and above: assessments in compliance with all regulatory guidelines, medication evaluation and management, structured program and individual / group therapies as well as patient centered treatment planning. The treatment philosophy at Exodus PHF is based on the premise that all individuals have the potential to rehabilitate and to make choices about their environments for living, learning, working and socializing. Treatment concentrates on symptom reduction and stabilization, and on preparation for discharge, with linkage to other community resources. The interdisciplinary treatment team will develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient to address the specific needs of each patient.
All services are provided under the direct supervision of a psychiatrist. The staff includes licensed mental health professionals (nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, marriage & family therapists), and nursing staff as well as a host of paraprofessionals.
