Two years of experience working with people with IDD and behavioral health needs. The ability to work with complex systems and an interest in the population is essential. Independent and organized with strong communication and writing skills are necessary. Experience working with families and individuals. Ability to complete START Coordinator certification within 12 months following employment may be 18 months for part-time coordinators). Valid California driver’s license and a good driving record is required. Must be 21 years or older to drive.
Individual will provide comprehensive case management services for clients in the Exodus START Program. START Coordinators shall meet the qualifications as indicated in the Short-Doyle Medi-Cal Rehab Option Manual and provide services in accordance with the scope of their practice.
